Drag Radial Recommendations
I plan on running ET streets on the new build though - they are supposed to be the **** as far as DRs go
. But have you considered this? What about buying a good set of z-rated summer tires for the street and still run the MT's at the track?
When I first bought my C5Z wheels they had Goodyear EagleF1SuperCar tires on them, and even though they didn't have a lot of tread left on them when I get them, they hooked nearly as well as my BFG DR's do now and get excellent wet traction.
I was cutting high 1.9 60' with the Goodyears and was able to drive the car comfortably in hard rain. They're more expensive than DR's, but I just thought I'd put that out there.

But I had gotten stuck with them once or twice in decent rain, and even when they were brand new they sucked pretty hard. Same thing with the Hoosier Quicktimes, those might have even been worse in the rain than the BFGs.
One the other had, my old Goodyear EagleF1Supercars (not drag radials), were damn near as sticky as the BFGs and were fantastic in the rain, too.
