Default Difference between 94 & 95 A4 harnesses?

I've been wrestling with how to get around my problem with a 95 PWM trans in a 94 non-PWN PCM car. I either need to get a 94 non-PWM trans OR wire up the missing PWM solenoid wire in the case connector and run it up to the PCM and then tune the car to use PWM.

Now... stay with me here...

If I have the PCM tuned to use the PWM TCC lockup function, I'm thinking I can grab a used 95 A4 harness and use it since it will already have the extra pin in the case connector. Otherwise, how hard would it be to get the correct pin connectors to go in both the PCM and case connector? I'd think these would be very specific and aould have to be a perfect match or they'd be trouble all the time with intermittent connections at the pins...

So- 94 & 95 A4 harness identical or not? I know the opti pigtail needs to swap over but other than that I can SEE no difference. But what about the PCM pins side? Anything to move? Simpler to just switch to 95 harnes AND PCM? I can get a 95 A4 harness & PCM for $50.00...

Looks like the 95 harness does have the PWM TCC solenoid connector- 418 brown & 239 pink wires at D6:

Anybody got a 94 A4 harness lying around? I need to confirm that the blue PCM connector doesn't have a pin in #6. The car is 30 miles away so I can't look at it myself. Looking into the connector with the clip tabs up it'd be the 6th one from the right, top row. Thanks...

If it does, I won't need to fiddle with wiring, just change the tune...

Bringing it back from the dead but I have a 95 Z28 A4 and fried my PCM. I got a 94 Z28 A4 PCM the other day and it starts up. Is there going to be a problem using the 94 PCM in a 95 car??

Yes, you need it flashed with a 95 tune, because the 94 tune will not operate the PWM TCC.

Thanks for the info, it seems to be running fine just casual driving easy the way it is now. I'll flash my stock 95 tune to it. Hopefully it doesn't get messed up like my stock computer from tuning...
