Default No internal work LT1

What kind of power can be expected Rear wheel wise, with all mods besides internal work? And a list. Also, I just mean no boring it out, no forging, that kind of stuff... until later. thanks

Stock cam orrrrrrr....?

A very small handful of bolt-on cars have reached 320+whp, but that is not the norm, 280-300 being common.

Cam-only cars have seen as much as 370whp, also not the norm, depending on the cam 310-350whp being common.

Sounds like you are asking how much power without taking the engine in for a performance rebuild?

If so ported heads and a cam can be put in a stock shortblock and with proper boltons over 420rwhp is possible.

HP comes from airflow, airflow is what the heads and cam do, they have a much greater impact on performance than rebuilding the bottom of the engine. More than anything the bottom half just has to be reliable at the rpm the heads and cam need to move air. That is a little oversimplified but is a response to the popular missconception that to add power you bore and stroke the engine. That can help but doing JUST that wont gain much.
