Default The Oil Leak Mystery

So I'm trying to figure out this oil leak, I don't think its the o-ring from the water pump because when i replaced the pump I made sure to put back in the right away as well as putting the bands on. What else could it be? got some pics, I just haven't had a chance to dig in the engine to look.

Any suggestions where I start? where are the most common leaks?

I have a 97 Trans am

Could be one of the following -

Front main seal.
CPS sensor seal.
Opti seal.
Waterpump seal.
Valve cover(s).

Take your pick. That's a sizable leak. Definitely start taking stuff apart.

wipe it all down, then crank it and see if it leaks enough to spot it. also don't forget the front of the intake, as a source. they also make dye kits with uv lights that could help locate it.

id say front main and the crank is throwing it around but it could aslo be the above listed, wash/wipe it down and start ripping stuff apart
