Yea, no doubt you will have overheating issues , wtf was that mechanic thinking....He must have not heard anything you asked him cause all the blood rushed outta his brain while you were talking lol.. You might get away with putting on some latex...... Gloves and work that crack from the inside too and completely fill it

I'm just just worried that if I don't fill it in good enough I will end up with a hole in my crack!!

But seriously I think it will go the long haul on the jb patch especially if you get your finger to the back side of the crack with some.. Just drain the coolant down some and dry the inside of the cracked area... Or just make sure there's plenty on the outside ... How did you
Manage to crack it?

That's the exact same spot mine cracked when I had 125K miles on her. Radiator is pretty cheap and easy compared to doing the headgasket!
See, I got my finger in my crack....I hope this stuff holds for a minute until I can replace the radiator!!Attachment 308872

I hate to be the spoiler but with the radiator being pressurized that will never hold. I tried all kinds of stuff on mine and sure enough it always leaked through. It might hold for a day or so but it will let go and it will leave you stranded. get ya a new radiator and as said stay the hell away from that "mechanic".
