Transmission linkage

Where the clip goes on the front side of the metal bracket on the transmission that the cable goes through is missing. Im not sure if a new clip would fix it since it looks like something else broke with it. I used zip ties befor and i guess just got plain lucky because now it wont stay. So now the car wont go back into park and throws everything off 1 click (makes it interesting lol).
Do i need a whole new cable or what? Im normally pretty creative but cant seem to figure this one out. Drilling a hole and sticking a nail through it might hold it but who knows. Epoxy is another option but first i would need to find the clip and weather its plastic or metal would also be an issue. Do parts stores sell these? anyone have any sitting around?
