Did you reuse the stock crank/rods or did you go with forged components?

So how much money and time did it take to get those head lights to work?

Where did you buy the lights from and do you have a write up on how they mount up?

i got lucky and scored them from someone that bought the $1200 spectre werkes set-up for his vette, then took the the projectors out change to something different.

no write up, with the brackets that were on them i literally just drilled a couple holes and they went right in

if you search around you might be able to find some projectors that will work. or there's always the PIAA conversion. i'd personally wouldn't do it on my car because i like hid's, but here's a pic of a conversion i did on someone else's car

Keep us updated on how the stock components hold up. Any time I ask a builder around here about building me a short block for boost, they say it cant be done without a forged crank and rods.

BS. GM has put out motors stock that hold 20+ lbs of boost, over 700whp on hyperE pistons and cast parts.

This is also an extreme example, but it shows what competence can get you:

Yeah, but that's a magazine. I'm talking honest performance. Not that they aren't, but they certainly have the reason to lie, cheat, or stretch the truth.

im only running 42lb injectors right now so i'll probably only be able to put down 500 or so on this set-up. once i upgrade the injectors and pump hopefully 600 or so. gonna need a 4l80e and different rear end too.

Adam, when you switch over anybody have dibs on the setup or are you just going to adapt it somewhere else? I may be interested in a rear mount. Still wondering about some heads you said you were going to do.......... Did you do something with those or what?!

Z-speedfreak nailed it. But I don't have rear seats. And it will be completely sealed off.

Lswho - I'm just gonna cut up the current set-up. And the heads are on craigslist, go check lol
