Uh, we'll find out some of this info on the 31st.
Its a 383, forged bottom, LE Trickflows/cam, Garrett GT88 (T6 flange), faceplated T56, S60.
It'll be around 6000RPM I'm thinking.
Got 10 gallons of C16, gonna try for 20psi. Hoping for 800+ (which IMO is easily doable).

I'd say we have a Lt1 setup that is making good power now and will make MUCH more once the initial bugs are worked out. Last weekend on the FIRST time it's left the shop in 3 years it made 550rwhp at around 8 psi, 10.5:1 AFR, and only 12* timing. We were having trouble managing boost and timing, so we called it quits. Once we fix the basic details, we are cranking up to 15-20psi and about 20* total timing. The car only runs on VP113
Car:
1991 Z28
355ci LT1
LS1 conversion harness
PT-88 turbo
A2W intercooled
T56 with viper internals
9" rear end
Old basic H/c lt1 setup:
New engine package:

I'm desperately trying to talk him into bringing it to the LTx shootout just to show it off. It's not ready to race just yet, but I know the other LTx guys out there would love to see it in person!

Its a 383, pt-88, custom A/W and so on. Runs where to 7,000 rpm.

To the OP, you do realize you don't need that kind of power to attain a 10 second time slip at the track with your LT1?
There are guys with barely 500 RWHP in the 10's with a little spray, or a very small supercharger.
Now, if you want a Turbo LT1, I am sure you can get it in the 10's, just the title of the thread makes it almost seem like you NEED a turbo to get there. I am just letting you know you don't, and it can be done much easier than going with a turbo.

It might see 7k, depends on where it peaks. Did the conversion due to ease of tuning, RTT, no opti, better tuning software, many reasons... I have pics, but they're al in progress pics. I'll grab a few tonight when I go finish it off and get it ready for AMS to tune.

O believe me I already know that. I had a nitrous car that was faster than 10s and I want 10sec or better guys in this thread that have turbos. NOt the average turbo guy coming in here and only running 12s.
SO I called out the big turbo guys or atleast the knowledgeable guys running 10s or better.

Turbo automatic cars are a great combo for the track. In fact, it is IMO one of the best combos to have. Really, if you aren't too heavy, have a well built auto tranny, and some great suspension, I don't think you would really need that big of a turbo, or any crazy amount of boost to get you in the 10's. You should be able to easily do it by making 600 RWHP or so.
My car has never ran good at the track (I am a superchaged car though). But I can dead hook in 1st gear and I have beaten cars on the street that do low 10's on the track, even though my best time at the track is a low 11.

Most that make the power never had the needed money invested in the car. Just the turbo. I'm sure it has to do with the more power will get you there mentality. If you look at the fastest times, they aren't who you'd think.
