Default difference between crane 227 and LE 218/224

I know the crane 227 held the cam only record by Frank95z for a long time. It's a good cam for off the self baby cams. I was also speaking with Loyd a little while ago about his 218/224 111. He said it should make a little more power then the 227 from 2000 rpm and up. Do you guys think that the 227 will still beat in the 1/4? Stock heads...

The crane 227 is 210/224 112 LSA 107 ICL

The LE 218/224 is 111 LSA 107 ICL

try not to put too mention emphasis on what some people have ran E.T. wise with any certain cam or part in general, that is more tell tale of the complete combo not any one part.

Very good and reply! Thank you That is true though. I guess my question, with all else being the same, which would most likely turn a better time? 3.70's and a 3500 converter.

You got the 411 direct from Lloyd...he said it would perform better "make a little more power". Any other comments are just "opinions"

I was more referring to the track, not dyno numbers. But, thank you for the reply.

I would say that Lloyd's cam would make more power because it has 8* more intake duration...

understood, but track times are not always related to power. Under curve torque and power normally own at the track.
