Default 95 z problems ..help please

95 Z...Driving & car starting to loosing power, getting hot, low coolant
light came on & ses light came on & off. Found that the cat was clogged.

Gutted the cat & now the car has rough idle, low coolant light(level good)
getting hot, no fans & some power loss. Could this be O2 sensor or temp.
sensor that caused all of this? Any advise would be apreciated!

First have the SES codes pulled. That should give you a good starting point.

only problem is I live a ways out of town & don't have a scan tool & really not
sure if it can make it in town.Would you replace temp. sensor & O2 sensor first?
Don't think I can rent a scan tool. I'm open to any ideas,Thanks.

Almost sounds like a blown head gasket.
Check your thermostat might be stuck, might have multi issues going on at once.
Check the codes!

Dont throw parts on it untill you find out what the problems are. Fix it right first time, or youll go broke trying to fix it.

Really?? wouldn't it be blowing white smoke if it was the head
gasket? Just asking... not doubting you. what kind of $ are we talking
about?

And when does a head gasket make the fans not come on??!? Hell that could be why it's heating up

95 is the odd year which has OBD I or OBD II connector.

After you scan it, i would do radiator pressure test.
