LT1 question, need help.

so i recently got a 94 camaro z28 with the lt1. it has comp cams (cc306 cam), 1.52 roller rockers, ported and polished aluminum heads, ported throttle body, pace setter long tube headers, and a full k&n intake.

but some times when i go to accelerate it feels like my car is almost missing and then all of a sudden it will take off. like i press the gas and it feels like there is no power there and then its almost like something opens up and it will take off. now it doesnt do this everytime only sometimes. seems to do it more when the motor is cold.

so im hoping somebody can help me.

I would run some fuel injector cleaner through it. I have had good luck with Techron. Also it wouldnt hurt to put a new fuel filter on. Also clean your MAF. If that doesnt help Check fuel pressure and TPS voltage. Any fault codes?

Mine has done that before and it was the O2 sensors.

the thing though with his car is he forgot to mention that his doesnt have 02 sensors in it at all.

Bingo...there's you problem..you NEED (front) O2 sensors for your motor to function as intended. Otherwise you are stuck in "closed loop"

Get the O2s in and run seafoam throught the injectors. NOT TECHRON. Nothing beats seafoam. Pricey at 10 dollars a can, but worth it.

i traded another car for this one. but this is how i got it. right now there is just a plug in the headers where it goes. this may be a dumb question, but if i buy the 02 sensor, will it come with the wire to plug it in? and then where would it go? sorry im new to lt1s.
