just curious to why you went with the Ai trickflow 23* heads instead of the 21*.. Great build either way..

To be perfectly honest, lack of knowledge. I know what the 23's are and what they are best used on and they are 215cc with 2.08/1.60 valves. A.I. shows flow numbers for the 23* 215's on their site and I liked what I saw but they don't have any posted flow numbers for the 21* heads and they are 212cc with 2.05/1.60 valves. I have been trying to read up on the 21* heads and learn but I havent really found a whole lot on them as far as LTx engines are concerned.

With the A.I. 215's I will be at 11.5:1 on -5cc Pistons and a 62cc Combustion Chamber. So if anyone is reading this, PLEASE feel free to educate me on the 21* Heads and application for them! I would love to learn about them EVEN IF they aren't optimal for my application! If they are, I may use them! I am curious now so I will be calling A.I. on Monday to discuss this further with them as well.

L.E sent me some info about the difference between the two a little bit ago while I was talking to him about a future project. I'll send you the info. I don't want to derail your thread with a cylinder head debate.
