I have a 96 ss a4 pcm tuned by pcm4less. The car cranks with no injector pulse until the battery gets low then it will pulse and fire for a second or two. i called and verified that the vats is tuned off. Is there something i am missing? What could be causing this? maf is new and i have 48lbs of fuel pressure. I have checked all fuses and all that basic stuff. Any help will be greatly appriciated.

No injector pulse. Do you have spark? Did you scan for codes?

also see whats dying if your losing pulse from the pcm again it may be an injector pulling a ton of amps which ultimately caused the failure of the orginal pcm. or plugging in the PCM with the key on will fry the PCM occasionally
