Harder cold starts?

Harder cold starts? Actually, it's just slightly harder to start when cold. Lately, it seems I have to crank the motor for a full second before it starts (when it starts, it's fine). Previously, it usually took just a 1/2 second to start.
On a warm engine, it usually fires immediately after turning the key.
The car doesn't run rough. In fact, it still runs great (idle is perfectly smooth on a cold engine). No SES light either.
Fuel filter was replaced 4-5 years ago at 23,000 miles, and I have almost 31,000 miles on it.
Not sure if it's a problem, but if someone else experienced something like this, please let me know. Thanks!
