Default Sensor Torque Values [PICS]

So I just installed new temperature sensors in both the Water Pump and in the Driver Side Head. However, after referencing shbox, google, the forum and my factory service manual I have found that there is no torque value given for them. So how tight is tight enough? I pretty much just winged it. Made sure that the sensor threads were teflon'd up and drove them in as far as I felt comfortable. I took pictures and was wondering if someone could tell me if these are in far enough?

Also, when driving in the ECT Sensor for the Water Pump, I heard what sounded like a pop or crack. Not sure if it was just air escaping but I am hoping I didn't break anything.

If anyone knows the appropriate torque, I would rather go by that. Thanks.

Snug. They are pipe threads so the tighter you have them the less chance they have of leaking, but the greater chance of stripping them out. But if you want numbers, I'd say 20# would be plenty.

Well I think I am well above 20#. Should I pull these out, make sure I didn't crack them and try again?

About a half grunt past snug. . Tapered fittings are tightened just enough to not leak.
