Well, I figured I'd update everyone on my progress. I got my exhaust back on, no more dumped bullet off the y-pipe, and got the pinion angle set. I'm still waiting on my local alignment shop to get back to me on a time to get in and get the alignment set. I'm fairly happy with the setup so far, seems to run pretty good.

What, you don't think it would be possible, especially through an M6? I would go so far to say it would be easy. Of course your money would be much better spent going SR at that level, but I didn't say feasible - just possible.

FYI, comp makes hydraulic rollers as big as 280* @ 50....WAY more then enough cam for someone ambitious enough to go for 500rwhp NA with an HR. You of course would need lot's of RPMs, great heads, and a top-dollar valvetrain...but its possible. Hell, your little baby cam 350 made 430, imagine what AI could have done with a max effort HR 383? I bet if you asked them and had the money, they would build the complete engine for you (it won't be cheap).

I thought about making an aggressive HR setup, but was convinced to go SR...it will be much easier to meet my goals.

its fun to throw around the word "easy"....... without mentioning what it would cost.

If it's easy then you should have no problem finding examples to back up your statements.

Simple stock bottom ends with a.i. top end are making well over 400 hp. Id say with aftermarket heads and a 383-396 in a m6 would be not hard at all. And no im not gonna google all day to find you a link

BADHAWKs car is right near 500rwhp. If he put a really good set of heads on his car and a single plane he would def have over 500rwhp and he has a heavy *** 60e in the car.

OP im thinking about 400rwhp.

Most people realize that at that level, SR is the way to go. Just because its possible, doesn't mean its worth doing.

If you're so keen on needing an example, give me your credit card and I promise you I'll make it happen.
