Lt1 tuning question, timing retard I data logged a few runs the other night and noticed my car is pulling 3degrees timing the entire run which is the max the tune will allow to have pulled out (in the max knock retard (inpe) table) should i set that table 0 allowed? why is the car pulling timing?
If you set that table to 0 and bad detonation grenades your motor from not tuning out the timing that would be a costly decision.
The tune is pulling timing from perceived detonation. Pull a few degrees in the appropriate cells.
95 z I'm way to new to even comment, I'm not even sure what version I have. It definitely doesn't scan codes the data logger program does that.
Joelster I'm not thinking the knock is detonation, the plug tips look good and clean with no speckles but wanted to rule it out before disarming the knock retard circuit.
