IIRC, all these two things do are lower NOx levels in the exhaust? If it's any help, since the 350 Im using has a 10.4 compression, I would always use premium fuel.
No it wont effect your MPG at all, just frees up clutter and weight

Just do the bolt-ons and get a good converter, it should get you the oomph you're after.
