Just curious, what car guide were you using? I ran mine on kelly Blue Book, and private party value, in excellent condition is $7115, which I would say mine falls under that category. Even at 'good' condition, which it definitely is, its still $6715. I upped my mileage to 95k to see and it still comes in at $6k? Im guessing your using some sort of auto auction guide. Your car is worth way more than $2800 imo.

Yeah that calculator shows $5,400, which sounds more accurate. The one I used was on Edmunds.com

Around here everyone is all on LS1's nuts so you can still pick up LT1s pretty cheap. I got a very well maintained 95 M6 Z28 Convertible for 4500. And the paint is even good on it. Everything works. Interior is like a 7 out of 10. But you cant touch ls1's for less than 7k hardly.

Maybe down in delkalb but not up here by Memphis. The prices elsewhere in MS are cheaper on everything.

i'm sure it's at least that. BTW - your car is one of the few that are worth the 5k+ in my mind. If I didn't have two already in the garage I'd be coming to get that thing

It could be the red. A lot of people don't like red. Just put it in the garage for a few years.

I got mine cheap a few years ago needing an opti. The guy didn't know how to fix it. I changed the opti and drove around in it for awhile before I started doing mods. Just noticing there are fewer and fewer of those deals.

Anyway, I know the LT1 well now, having rebuilt it and everything. It used to be a difficult engine to diagnose but nothing about it scares me anymore. Mine runs really nice. Still a great deal for a fast car.

I think the nice LT1 cars are finally steadying. There will always be the super cheap 2000 auto z28 with a million miles and cloth interior.

Your high option, leather, M6 cars that still shine are hovering around 5-6.

At this point Ill have mine forever. I have put too much work into it and had tons of memories.

I agree. red on red is a love it or hate it thing. i had a very rare red on red 93 thunderbird SC (so rare, when i first showed it to people on the super coupe club of america, people said it was a clone) anyway, i loved it but most people said it was just too much red.
