I am going carbed on my lt1, and installing it in my grandpas old 78 1 ton dually.
my question is on the intake, i have a holley dual plane and I am going to have the bolt holes drilled in my heads. but the head bolts on the lt1 heads go in closer to vertical than the holley is drilled for, what is the best way to fix this?
elongate the holes?
and also what intake manifold gasket do i run the intake has the sbc exhaust crossover tube that will not be utalized
stock lt1
stock sbc
suggestions?

You'll have to take the intake to a machineshop and have them do it but I would see how much they want to do it and weigh that cost against just buying the GMPP LT1 carb intake and just go the cheaper route. And you would use LT1 intake gaskets.
