LT1 Fuel Cooler?

LT1 Fuel Cooler? i was thinking about and looking about my LT1 like the average man thinks about sex on a daily basis and was wondering has anyone ever used a fuel cooler to inject cool fuel in the cylinders? wouldnt it increase more power, decrease chance of detonation and better gas mileage? if theres such a thing where can i get one?
Theres a oil cooler, a water cooler(radiator) why not a fuel cooler?

LTX, there used to be a product designed to "cool" fuel that you'd actually put ice in like an air 2 water intercooler but it was for carbed cars and I don't even know if they make them anymore. I'm guessing the idea was to cool the fuel before it entered the carb to lower IAT's, IDK? Snow Performance makes a water/methonal injection kit for N/A cars but I don't think it would net the gains to justify the cost. Maybe make a sig with your setup so we can see what you've got, this way alternatives can be suggested to achieve you goals.
Inspiration for the Cool Can came from drag racers of the sixties. They discovered that by running their fuel lines through bags of ice it became cooler and denser and as a consequence the engine produced more power. The specific gravity of fuel is calculated at 60-degrees Fahrenheit, so high under hood temperatures undermine gasoline’s ability to perform.

whyrun is absloutly right..........look at the Distillation Charts for Race Gas as an example and their Vaporaization Points........the temperatures are easily attainable in an engine compartment........high fuel temps upon injecton are no good for power.........which is why i chose to run my fuel lines as i did......i was thinking about this myself but i couldn't find a fuel cooler that had big enough lines for my system.....suppose you could build one but with my fuel temps at a decent point now i saw no need in exploring the build of one......
Yes you will make a little more power if you can keep your fuel temperature down. This is particularly true on LT1's due to the aluminum fuel rails being mounted directly to the intake. The rails tend to absorb a bunch of heat. That said, the effort to keep things cool really isn't worth the gains unless you are running heads-up or looking for a new best time.

Yeah it would do some good. Cool air and cool fuel are always better but like others have stated, I don't think the cost/effort would justify the end state. Better things to spend money and time on.

Ok thanks guys, yeah i know the cooler you keep the combustion chamber the more efficient it is. Yeah when i feel my aluminum fuel rails after a quick run and there too hot to touch, i dont understand how the cylinders get enough dense air in there when that intake is that hot lol.

Direct injection on many of the new high-tech motors already does this (new v6 Camaro for instance)...fuel pressures of over 2000 psi atomizes and cools the intake charge much more efficiently, thus allowing much higher compression ratios and 10-15% more HP Win-win! i know it cost more to make the same power as an LSX but i saw in an article they make 4 valve LT1 cylinder heads from Arao engineering. are those heads really worth the money? 
Fyi...not sure how many in the lt1 section keep up with the latest on the LS scene from GM. (I do!)..but the new generation LS engine in the C7 vette has DI, is only 5.5 liters and makes 440HP Not too shabby for a 0.7 liter SMALLER engine than the LS3 it replaces! I'm not aware of any Gen2 LT1 4 valve heads....they do make them for gen 1 and LS engines however. Personally, I'd just go with boost if you want big power.

Lol it looks just like the C6 it should be called C6.5 rather then C7
