Default cps reluctor wheel?

I've seen to lost my crank key through out the build and now i see it is a cut back crank key. http://shbox.com/1/engine_front_diagram.jpg

My question is will a regular key way work that isn't cut back?

If it is going on an LT1, it has to be cut back to clear the hub, which has no slot for the key. Your could modify one with a grinder.

Short answer: No.

I have a problem. I'm throwing a P0336 code and I did my timing chain a few months ago. The car is a 96 TA; it's had the P0336 code, misfires, O2 codes, and runs like crap. My dad works at Jeff Gordan Chevy and said I might have put the relutor plate on wrong. What do you think? Let me know I'm stomped.
