12s finally
Well new best last night, finally cracked into the 12s with even my craptastic 60's.
2.192 60'
12.824@113.59
I had two issues. First was even though I picked up some Weld Draglites this last week the lugs that came with them weren't long enough, I bought them used so I guess I'll just have to order the right length before the next time I go out.
So unfortunately I did not get to rock real rubber once again.
The second issue is even though EFI Live claims the rev limiter is disabled, guess who's car wouldn't rev past 6200ish RPM last night? Yeah my first run I only trapped 111mph as I kept the pedal down but the car magically hit a wall and the shift light never went off at its 6500rpm setting. Yeah set it to 6200 and shifted there, picked up 2 MPH.
So yeah I got screwed out of the CC503's powerband, I read in the cam sticky that you want to shift it around 6500 or 6600, yeah that wasn't happening last night.

Congrats on 12 sec slip! Im sure when you get everything sorted out with that mph you should be creeping on the 11s. Ive been so damn busy this summer to get out to the track and see what my new motor does. I too would be happy to crack into the 12s just to start and work on getting the launch dialed in to get it down to a low 12.

Awesome man! I'm guessing you ran on the stock tire size since the Hoosiers wouldn't work? Your mph is so much more than mine. You get some decent rubber and nail that launch and you'll knock a lot off!
Mystica, with the mods in your sig (and rwhp) you haven't broken into the 12's!?!?????

Just put the motor in this year but i havent been able to make time to get out to the track. Im hoping now that summer is over and things arent as crazy ill be able to take advantage of the cooler air and get into the 12 club Before new motor and boltons best it did was a 13.8 @ 102 with a 2.19 60' bogging bad with et streets. Im going to up the rpm but it will be testing the 10 bolts limits

Thanks everyone, it felt good to finally run something other than 13s, I've only had the car oh 7 or 8 years. Yep ran on 235/55/16 Yokohamas, if you all think my 60' was bad that night I'm used to putting down 60's around 2.4-6.
mysiticta, I hear you on having to wait and things being crazy. I looked in my time slip book and I hadn't been to the track since April 2010. Between school and finally getting my weird issue with this motor sorted out finally its been a long time!
Enjoy the track time, I hope you hit your goals.
