I have a 96 ta and my friend has a 94 z 28 will my 96 PCM work in his 94 z28 he is gonna buy my cc502 cam and my PCM if it works since mine is tuned already

Most people would consider that going backwards the OBD1 is a lot CHEAPER to tune. But since its already tuned I think it would be worth it if its a parts swap

Knock Sensor is all you have to change I do believe

OBD2 in an OBD1 car? You'll probably have some issues.

ahhhhh will not work then unless its retuned for the A4 it will have the tranny starting in 3rd gear in "Limp" mode.

Mail order tunes are real reasonable I say he just gets his OBD1 PCM tuned. What are you planning to do with your car??

I have two PCM for a 96 m6 car so I was gonna sell him the one I'm in the middle of a 355 rebuild in my ta and I'm going with bigger injectors and cam so I would of had to get it re tuned anyways that y I was wonder if hey could be switch from them two years

Tell him to buy a cable and tune it himself. It's free after the $60-80 cable.

Yeah the cable is the best way to go
plus not sure if he switched PCM's he could tune it through and OBD1 port with and OBD2 computer? again not sure of that but better just to keep his in all reality
