Default lt1 corvette cai on camaro

im in the market for an air system after a rebuild.
i already purchased flowmaster cat-back, longtube pacesetters and ORY. now im looking for my intake. question is, is there anyway i can i fit a corvette style intake on my camaro? something along these lines

You are limited to either an LS1-lid conversion or a typical LT1 CAI. Anything else isn't really worth it, unless you do ram air/hood conversion.

Well it depends on what you want to do. because i am keeping AC i needed to find room somewhere. How i did that was i cutout and lowered the cradle that the radiators go in. I lowered it about 2.5" IIRC. then i cut out the front bumper support and most of the front bumper to allow for the fresh air to pass straight through. It took alot of work and thus alot of time. but to me it was absolutely worth it.

What kind of a gain did u see? Has any one done the chris1313 on our cars? I have been reading up on it in the gen3 external page. Seems like a hell of a good mod to me!

@ soxxpuppet... What kind of tubing is that? Does anyone have The link to look at the parts kit and cost of the chris1313? That would actually be way easier to do after looking at it.
