I had it sitting in the garage. Im building a motor as we speak so why would i pay for another cam? This motor was just things i had leftover from other builds. I just bought a AI 21* Heads cam package. Testing with this motor. I love how on this site you ask about a tranny issue and goes in a diff direction.

No biggie. Sorry to digress. I misunderstood.....thought you were perplexed why the car wasn' performing.
Did you figure out the 2nd gear skip?

Not yet ill have time tom. Im going to compare each tranny table in tuner pro from my bolton tune (when it worked) to my current tune to see if there is anything in there. Also going to check the wot tps voltage. Dont get me wrong going fast is the point but i donnt want to put in the new motor that is going to make serious power until i have most of the suspension and tranny figured out.

Why would it not work well? Yes it could be better but I went 12.9 @ 106 in 7500 DA with a cam much smaller than that....

The car should be able to run well with this cam. Just because its not a glorified AI cam doesnt mean there's something wrong with it...

There's nothing at ALL wrong with the duration on that cam. I was referring to the lobe separation and ICL.
Duration numbers like his can put up 10 sec ET's in a light car.
I'm a fan of smaller cams. Very few people I see utilize the cams they choose. They don't have the rest of the drivetrain matched to get out of the hole like they should and they don't rev to make use of them.
Hell, I ran 12.3's @107 at 3900 lbs with a 192 duration cam.
And since you decided to throw in another stale comment..... Don't be so butt hurt by people running AI parts. Seriously, if you're smart enough, you can find other ways to go fast and won't need to make those childish comments

Not trying to be stale.

You do realize though, that one needs to look at the valve events to get a picture of what's going on with the cam....

There's more to it than this LSA works well and that one doesn't...

Yes yes, wouldn't you say it's a moot point here though.
Pick the right valve events, for a NA Gen I/II SBC with the type of heads he's running, and you won't end up with those LSA/ICL #'s.

Well Mr. Gregrob did some voodoo in my tune and my tranny now shifts into second and dosnt feel like a dog. I cant wait to go back to the track and see the diff. Even if its a odd ball random cam, racing is fun.
