well to put the maf thing to rest we have done a few atempts on a speed density tune, about 5 different ones and still spits and pops. as for the injectors they are precision 95# low impedence, im running a versafueler driver box.

let me ask this what does it take to go to a stand alone system, this is more of a race oriented car as it is and i will be going for all out more and more once i can get it to move on its own ha ha ha i have been thinking of the fast, accel dfi, big stuff. but was worried i wont be able to run my gauges or anything like that. i have done them in the past but on older cars that were carbed. this car is about going fast so why not go to one of these systems and ditch the factory stuff?

is it easy to adapt a stand alone to one of these and still be able to run windows, gauges, radio, trunk release? the a/c and heater stuff have been taken out of the car already so none of that is there.

All your problems started after u did a p.c.m and injector swap ? I'm wondering if one of yours pins in the pcm harness got bent/pushed out of the pigtail . I did it once myself and I found it by doing a wiggle test . Think about it this happened doing those 2 things and hasn't been right since .

im goin to get the car from the tuner tomorrow ill give that wiggle test a shot, so while its idling just wiggle parts of the harness and see what happens? hell ill try it. i have wiggled the harness plenty of times, thats how i have found most of the other problems so hell ill give her a shot tomorrow. i have had the cpm in and out a **** ton so maybe it did pop a pin out or something, but hell i figured it would have thrown some kind of code!!!

can the accel dvi or fast or bs3 run the gauges and what not??

Yes, give it a try. Just wiggle each connector and the harness. Don't pull to hard but push in and out on the connectors a little too. I would also think that there would be trouble codes though but since you tried everything else but a new harness why not.

well i tried the wiggle test, nothing, didn't change a bit. yes the map is a 3 bar and its in the tune. we have tried a few different map sensors and still no luck. clint at AIR "was" tuning it but i think I'm going else where to have it done. i am going to data log it next week and see if anything can be found if not i guess I'm join to go stand alone because this is getting old!!!!

Did you ever check the fuel pressure when the issue occurs? Have you checked the afr?

the fuel pressure stays a solid 50 psi the entire time, then you try to hit boost and it starts to hit 60 to 70 because its boost referenced. and the afr is around 14.8 cruising then ya hit it and it goes to about 12.8 to 13.0.

Look at your PCM connection to the temp sensor. The data logs should tell you what sensor isn't working properly or has issues.

I had a bad wire in my PCM temp sensor harness and it was a nightmare to find. Until I started data logging it and noticed my coolant temp in the PCM kept going from 180* to -40* then back. And this was a only closed-loop item as well.

If I had to bet, I'm saying bad wire that happened when you started messing around.
