97 Cluster swap?
97 Cluster swap? There seems to be two diff part numbers, any one do this swap? a bunch of stuff doesnt work or doesnt work right on the one in my 93. I know I need the 97 cluster or the tach wont work. The cars a Trans Am, so I just need the cluster. Will it connect right up, same harness?

I put a 97 into my 93 but I had to use a MSD digital 6 to get the tach to work. Everything else is the same it just plugs in. Actually I think on a 98+ ALOT of things don't work the speedo is calibrated differently or something. Fastbird93 now has the car. I sold it without the MSD and the tach didn't work. He bought a digital 6 for it and then the tach worked again so I'm assuming that was it... Weird though...
Now if you had a 94 to early 97 car I bet the digital gauge 97 would plug right in without the MSD..
