Default ? about 94 z28

Ok my dad is buying a 94 camaro z28 b/c it has some parts he want’s off it it’s a black on black .its got p/w p/l all the stuff abs but no ttops or bose. The top hafe of the motor is pulled off the heads were redone has header’s that would come with it. and most every thing needed to be put back together but there is water in the valley and in some of the bores thay sed it had a head gaskit issue. Ok here is why im posting my dad just wants the 150mph speedo and the bigger dash cover you one with the vent in it .The car is in good shap over all but I have a 92 camaro. I see 1LE back brake’s and a way to put a motor I love in to my RS 3.4 v6 (not seting the world on fire) but on the other had I mean it is a ture z28 and ill all ways be worth more then my RS .It is a 4l60e? car. So I gusse what I am trying to ask is fix and own or part out and make bad *** RS camaro with the lt1. I think the car has ben apart for about a year oddly the bors arnt rusted all to h*** .I would just like your in-put and what you think the newer z28s will be worth maybe thel be like the 69’s . and I would have to get read of my 84 supra two if I was to keep he camaro and idk if any one is like me but I get stuck on a car it’s a love not hobby to me .

P.S sorry for righting a book and any bad spelling/grammar.

Maybe type into word first next time, use spell check, then copy and past into your post?

The 94s will never be worth jack squat, they are not the new 69 camaro. Neither will your 92 RS. It would be a 4l60e if it is an auto. A swap wouldn't be too hard since the 4l60e has the same dimensions as the 700r4 you have now so all mounts and the driveshaft could be used, you would just need motor mounts from a 3rd gem originally equipped with a 305 or 350. Personally I would just fix the 94 to make it nice enough to sell then take that profit and do an ls swap.

Fix it. It sounds like you need some headgaskets and a lot of labor to get it going. It won't be worth a lot of money, ever, so enjoy it. The swap into your third gen isn't as easy as you may think, since your 3rd gen is a v-6 car.

A fake 30th anniversary, on a 27th year car, worth even less than if you leave it alone. Maybe a 98 or 01-02 4th gem will be worth something someday, but not a 94 lt1 car. Ever. It's like a 78 z28, not worth crap.
