Default Need to fix these 2 last bugs.

1. Changed all the right rear tail lights that blew out since the whole lens assembly was filled with water. The bulbs didn't just go out, they blew up! They all work now but right turn signal in the dash is solid and does not flash. Change flasher fuse? All lights work, front and back. One light in the tail light is slightly dimmer than the other when I turn the lights on though. The two light sockets are quite rusty but cleaned them out as best as I could.

2. Speedometer does not work properly. Doesn't go over 40 mph.

Other than the oil pan leak, that's it. Ideas? Thanx

Whenever my arrow stayed solid green the front turn signal was always burnt out. I would check out the light that is more dim. Obviously that's not working right. Don't know man...

Front right turn signal is out.

Speed Sensor might be bad or tune is messed up.

Will look into the rear lights a little more. Worse comes to worse I'll just get a new harnes.

What's weird is I just started up the car before and the right side slowly flashed but then when I started driving it stopped flashing. Front right light works.

As for the speed sensor, isn't that located inside the transmission?

Yup..17x Reluctor on the Main Shaft.

If it's not flashing then the bulb is out..

But the bulb is on.

Must be the flasher.

Unless there's more than one bulb in there...

Doesn't seem to make sense does it? If it stays on but doesn't flash the bulb is bad.

The same thing happened to me a few years ago. Neither the flasher nor the bulbs were the problem. It's more than likely a bad ground in the front turn signal light socket. If you take off the wire retainer on the bulb socket and wiggle the ground wire, I'll bet you it will start flashing. You probably need to replace the front pigtails.

If the ground connection is bad, current will jump from turn signal filament to the marking light filament instead of going through the ground wire. This usually causes both filaments to be dimly lit. The circuit will not flash either if this occurs.
