Default 05-07 corvetter vararam intake modified to fit firebird

as the title states i am thinking of trying this. looks like an awsome design and i think with as far back as i have laid my radiator back that i can make this intake work on my trans am. should be a slick setup if it will work, i dont have anythinginfront of the radiator, as in supports or anything. i can fabricate stuff pretty good as i work for a hotrod shop. i just wish i had one here to try before i buy lol. what do you guys think, dumb idea?

I think would be sick if done correctly but its also an expensive experiment. What about the GTO vararam it sits right above the radiator on those cars and might work a little better?

Ok thanks for the heads up, I'll definately look into it. The one for the vette sits over the radiator too doesn't it? It's the single inlet version that I'm looking at, not the dual version.

The Vette radiator is on a steeper angle then the GTO. That's why I mentioned it may work better. Bit I do not know for sure.
