Check your fuel pressure before anything else.

You'll need a fuel pressure test gauge available at most auto parts stores (around $30). Make sure you get a high pressure gauge with a screw-on connection.

With the key on, engine off pressure should be right around ~43psi and hold steady.

Use the schrader valve on the fuel line. On your 93 it will be on the drivers side between the intake and valve cover. You should be able to shut the hood and have the guage by your windshield wipers and view it while driving.

I would also check your opti harness and check for any stored codes in your computer. I assume the SES light hasn't come on. It can throw codes without triggering the SES light on the dash.

My opti harness connector that plugs into the opti had a broken clip (common) and it would jar loose and kill the car.

Let us know when you've ruled all that out.
