Mike, I just looked it up and it's a 14hr haul for me and the weather can change so quick this time of year I think I'm going to take a pass this time.

Good luck on a new best to all that make it.

Mike, get it down to Cecil this Saturday. There will be a boatload of Impala's/Caprices/Wagons, a few gunning for the 9's on spray. I'm not bringing my car, but coming along as support/tuning/etc. with 3 others here from the Midwest. I hope to see you there -SERIOUSLY!! I'll put money on a 9.8x from your car at that track Gates open early....I think 8:00.
We're staying Fri and Sat night, some at the Comfort Inn and some at the Holiday Inn, Northeast, MD. about 3 miles from the track.

For you guys that are staying overnight......................

PLEASE disable your vehicles! There have been numerous thefts lately. The hot commodity seems to be Buick T-types. Pop the hood of your tow vehicle and remove coil wires, pull ignition fuses, etc, etc. I hate reading about stolen stuff every day on yb.

Mike - traction shouldn't be a problem. I was dead hooking 1.4s the last time I was there which was right around this time last year.

PS - I'll be there.

Mike, I don't care if you DO spin. You'll still run your 9 at that track.
They prep the track very well at the beginning of the day. Your early runs will be your best. I ran my 10.98 there last year this time with slight spin off the line, and it was not epic weather. It still was .15 sec better than my best ever at any other track.

X100000000! Just go check Yellowbullet.com. Stolen car threads almost every week on there now. This **** is getting way outta hand. If I ever have to travel really far to race I will sleep in the damn truck. I night of uncomfortable sleeping is better then a lifetime with out your car and truck.

I have a hunch that these theives are online checking to see who is going to be at what tracks. Then they do a little digging and see exactly what tow vehicles will be used. Then they figure out a plan to "hotwire" that particular type of vehicle.

OT, but I freakin can't stand thieves. It pisses me off when someone works hard for something, and someone just goes and takes it from them .

Last year during bike week we had a guy go around with a dually pickup just cutting the chains and hooking up to trailers to drive away with the whole thing.

Think he got 4 trailers (like 7 bikes) before he got caught the next day. He's lucky the cops got him before the big Country *** Harley riders did . If you guys think you're attached to your cars, those guys treat their bikes better then their women...
