Thanks for your input guys, the LE2 heads/cam setup is what he is going with but what about the intake. Are you guys running the LT4 intake with your setup?

Couple that with the fact that they aren't even made any more and USED ones are going for $400 make the LT4 intake obsolete.

The LT4 intake is internally identical to the LT1 intake. There is absolutely zero value in using it, not to mention the intake ports do not line up with LT1 heads.

The most thoroughly proven route to a long term reliable 400+ rwhp has been our 200cc CNC'd GM head & one of our HR grinds for the better part of the last decade. The head is where the power potential is, so you may certainly take the common advice to start with an entry level head, but you will eventually be forced to swap to a better head, or go power adder if you want to compete with the better heads/cam setups. Anticipate ~$3k in labor/machine work, custom grind cam, manifold work, and valve train. Beyond that you'll need a TB, fuel injectors, bolts/gaskets, and competent assembly, tuning, and adjustment.

Okay guys my buddy has more question for you all. He's wanting to know who is running 355 bottom end and if your using 6inch rods?
He has decided he is going with the CNC 215cc Trick flow heads with a 226 234 .566 .566 - 110 Lsa from AI. Are any of you guys running those heads and cam if so how do you like it?
