Here is my car. Stock suspension right now. Sits on 17" wheels, 170k on suspension.

Stickers under Y pipe are 3 inches tall.

Speed _Daddy LT headers with no cats.

I didnt want to take a chance and scrap everything in sight. Went with mid-headers for my Camaro and modified them with 3" primaries for improved top end...

Pro kit and pacsetters w/ mufflex y-pipe. Never had a problem yet. Just have to be mindful of where your driving and angle speed bumps and driveways

Seems to be more of, watch your driving than anything else. I've had cars lowered on coil overs and only had to watch the front bumper on sharp drops pulling out of places. I plan on LT's this spring, so I'll report back, or ask around some of my friends with Fbody cars.

alright guys, first off i would like to apologize for this late response.my computer crashed and i just got a new one.i really appreciate the pictures! i havent ordered anything yet.im still debating. i can always buy lt's and modify the y pipe to fit tighter to the body.and i will not be running a cat so i should be able to tuck it up higher than most. if i cant go over speed bumps its not the end of the world to me.i guess i will just see if i can make it work!

I was thinking of putting Pacesetter LT on my 96 SS and I was wanting to lower it about 1.25 , after reading this I might go with BBK short tubes.
Has anyone used these before? I had a set of Edelbrock short tubes on my 93 Z and the car was loweered 1.50 with no problem.

I have PaceSetter LT ORY pipe no cat, BMR 1.25 in drop. If you hit the dips head on, yeah you'll scrape, angle just a tad its all good

Like everyone said before me, you'll need to take speed bumps and steep dips at an angle with headers and a lowered car. Its really not that bad though. I'm lowered with the Prokit and headers similar to Pacesetters and I don't scrape them anymore. Judging by nascarnate's pictures, I have about half his ground clearance. I'd take a picture of mine, but I have the headers off.

I'll warn you though, when you do scrape them or bottom them out on a speed bump, it makes the most butt clenching sound you'll hear; you'll swear you ripped something off or bent them, but they hold up fine.
