one thing is when you unbolt the tq arm, the rear is going to want to "roll" towards the rear of the car ie. the driveshaft yoke will try to go vertical, be ready for that
Thanks again - your input has made this feel much more doable for me. I am going to attempt to be responsible and hold off until after Christmas to find a new rear and install it. I will be sure to post up and say how it goes.
