Can anyone tell me what the weight difference is between the draglites and the summit knockoffs?? Or any other info between the two?
Noone answered in the wheels section so i'll just ask my favorite LT1 section![Burnout](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_burnout.gif)

the comparisons i found over the years seem to agree that the summit versions run heavier on average about 3or more lbs (for a 15x8 wheel)
there is a 2 year old thread about the prostar being weighed against the summit star where it was as high as a 4.5 lb difference

I figured the summit wheels were a little heavier, just didn't know how significant it was.
Just wanted to see if it was worth going cheeper on the wheels or not.

Do yourself a favor and buy the Welds. I once owned the Summit drag wheels and will be buying Welds eventually here so I essentially did things twice which is costing me more $$ in the end.
The look very similar in pictures but in person the Welds are a nicer looking wheel, are made in the USA and not China and yes like said they weigh something like 3lbs. less per wheel.
