Hi I got 2 tubes detected who are not connected.
I got a code who says secondary air injection.
the car is starting not right away. after 2 to 3 sec it starts.
dont know if this has something to do with that 2 disconnected airhoses at the drivers side engine compartment.
both tubeconnectors fit togehter but the one above is far away positioned so i dont know..
please see pics. just bought the car so i am getting to know it first.
its a 96 LT1 WS6 Trans Am.
thanks
Greg

Put the blue elbow in the hole on the side of the intake boot. You will have a bit of performace decrease as you have a vac/unmetered air coming in that hole. As to the second pic, that hose looks to go to the AIR pump/solenoid, however I'm unsure as I don't know the setup on 96' and OBDII cars for the Air injection/pump. Are you getting any SES lights?

i got the blue elbow in that hole.
first i thought it goes into the air housing. i had a big open hole on that housing, nothing inside!
i closed it temporarly. on the driver side of the housing.
the other hose from above is hard to tell.
thanks

Thats the hole to the air pump hose. Should be a hose from that to the air pump. That could be why your throwing a code. Check the air pump and see if has an opening on it for a hose that size. If its there put the hose on.
