Default Nitrous outlet plate, can I grind it?

Well its been a year and I never finished my install because I grinded all that i wanted to on the thermostat housing and my AIC valve is paper thin. Is it ok to grind on the plate itself? I bought a NX shark nozzle but never got around to installing it because I really want my plate!

I will pay if someone helps me out in fontana ca.

I just ground down the IAC housing and water pump/t-stat housing. It was scary how thin it was getting, but it works
