RAAMmat bxt and Ensolite sound deadener and sound system
I was wondering if anyone here has used any of these products in their LT1 to help decrease unwanted outside noises and increase sound system quality. They are a butyl based matting that is supposed to prevent thin metals (floor, wheel well, doors) from vibrating and transmitting noise. Also the close cell foam (ensolite) is supposed to block out certain frequencies from making their way into the car. I am curious if it actually made a difference because I will be getting my order in a few days.
I will be updating this post with pictures and reviews on the product.
Along with the sound deadener I will be adding 4 kicker ks650 speakers, 2 in the doors and 2 in the sails. Along with a stealth box and a 10" alpine type R sub, powered by a audiopipe apsm-1300 amp.
Any comments or suggestions are welcomed.
