Default installing steam line, questions..

Any tips or tricks to install this so it doesnt leak. motor is out of car. I have the new washers with the rubber insert. I noticed when it ook it off there were no washers just brass washers and it didnt leak.

I noticed that too when I did mine. I haven't started mine yet to test for leaks but I did it the way it was on shoebox with the rubber washers.

buy the factory washers from a dealer and put gasket sealer around them and make sure theyre tight

GM seals x4. I didn't use any sealant, just some anti-seize on the bolt threads. You have to really crank them on there too. Not enough room for a torque wrench, but spec is 30 ft. lb.

Thanks for the advice guys. I always seem to forget shoebox's site. Motors out of the car, so I will be able to torque them down.

You could convert to AN fittings and lines if you wanted to.
