glad I found the problem when I did... halfway back from a ~200 mile road trip it was running... warm... limped it home luckily. thinking it was my waterpump I began the tear down and decided to see what was the issue. Would cool off at idle and low load/RPMS... but instantly heat up once at speed.



a heater core busted and a whole lot of praying later, turns out to be a very very stuck thermostat.

been there done that. actually limped it home in 95 temps with the heat on high to keep it cool enough to drive home. hotter than a sauna
