Since the car is a hardtop there's no need for SFC's.

Great info guys and I appreciate it all. I am looking to do torque converter, shift kit, long tubes, y pipe, nitrous, get rid of smog and AC, tune, tune up, Dr, and some suspension. Trying to to keep it cheap and fast.

Used part prices are great on LT1 performance parts. I got out of the LT1 scene a long time ago and recently cam back. I was paying so much more for these parts back in the day! I've talked several of my friends into coming back.

Good luck on your build.

Long Tubes, springs/shocks, tint, and start saving for a cam swap/stall.

I have when that happens. I've gone through 5 windshields already from taking corners too fast.

The fact that the shell on the roof provides enough structural integrity SFC's are not needed. The money could be far better spent on a decent sway bar and torque arm.
