fuel pump issues

I'd prefer to not clutter up the OP's thread anymore by going off topic, so I'll leave this in an edit.
By being off topic you are not contributing to helping the OP, who made this thread for a reason, not for you to get your kicks from arguing and BSing.
It would do everyone a favor if you and others could stop being ******** and adding misinformation.

Good luck anyways bud. Perhaps checking in with a local guy to help you fix your problem.
It is about giving correct info, seeing as how this is a TECHNICAL forum. Any wrong info should be immediately dismissed. It only hurts the OP by giving bad info.
It's already been shown that oil PSI has nothing to do with starting or the PCM.
How many times must it be said before you realize this?
I haven't wandered into the LT1 section for a year cause of all the ********* and I decide to start reading and posting and it's got even more of you guys than when I gave up.
Nothing to do with it...blah, blah, blah...

Since it says switch, it must be something that is activated manually or mechanically.
The psi sensor is simply a pressure gauge with a diaphragm that transmits a constant variable signal, no switch at all. A switch is either ON or OFF.
Just because you can show me a diagram doesn't mean you know what it does.
I'm not sure of the legitimacy of your BP but here's one from a manual, specifically a 94 LT1.

Right. Nothing. That diagram is not for an f-body. Corvettes used an oil pressure switch, but it was for keeping the pump running when oil pressure was ok, in case the f/p relay died while driving. F-bodies don't have this.
Sorry, you bet on the wrong horse.
I think the word you are looking for is shboxed.
