Im going to be buying my 93 z28 back in a few months and the one thing I hated about it was having to have chips burned for my 93 computer. So the first thing I would like to do is put a 95 computer and harness in it. Is there any how to's in how to do this? If not, how hard is it to do? Thanks

I do have the m6 so I shouldn't have a problem there. I don't mind running a maf. It will be getting a ls1 swap within in the next few years any ways. Anything else that I will need. Anthony I have to do to the factory wiring?

I have a 93 z28 with a 94 computer. You will need the wiring harness from the 95, and a MFS. Oh and the 93’s run 22 pound injectors and 94-97 use 24 pound injectors so you will need 24 pound injectors as well. You can run the 22’s at first but will miss at higher RPM’s

The newer harness and computer will work on a 93, the plugs through the firewall will need to be rewired to go to the right places, if I remember right its about 5 or 6 wires that need to be moved around. But under the hood it all goes to basicly the same place, adding in a MAF, propper coil and IGN module, as wll as puttin gin 94 up injectors (93s are 22 #ers). Some say the knock sensor on the side of the block is different but we didnt run into any problems with it. Now another thing to consider is the transmission. If it is an auto you are going to have to figure out the lock-up on your 93s 700 R4, but if it's a standard i's much easier.
