Default Scorpion rockers problem

So Im about to fire this bish up and was just checking everything. I took off a rocker and noticed that it has indents on the bottom of the rocker where it is hitting the rocker-stud on the bottom like where you would put the wrench. It almost seams like there should be a spacer between the rocker on the bottom of the stud??? Now im worried and confused. Any help would be great.
John
They are 1.6 rockers with guide plates.

You may have to take them all off and clearance them. I would also check the valvetrain geometry. It may only be a matter of clearance, but if the rocker is actually sitting that low, the geometry could be off (incorrect pushrod length, would be too short in this case). If the geometry is good just clearance the rocker arms as needed.

I cant see a difference between the ones I have and the ARP's. Really need a real world opinion. Someone that has experienced this exact problem...

So i just double check my pushrod length. Do I really have to grind down my rockers to fit?

Scorpions here with ARP studs. No problems. Badblackzee and a couple more on here that I personally know run them with no issues. Sounds like PR length is off.

Edit: if it makes any difference, I ran these rockers/studs on a stock casting and on my current dart casting. Did not have any issues. Are they NSA or SA?

Can you post a picture?

I think I am with the rest of the guys in thinking this is an installer error thing and not a scorpion thing.

BadBlackZee just had to clearance some of the rockers simply because he is running ARP studs and the bottom of like 6 rockers barely touched in a small spot.

You should not be using self-aligning rockers with guide plates

I do not have pics of that. It was very little on the bottom corner. Your issues SERIOUSLY sounds like too short of pushrods man. The rocker should NOT touch the bottom of the rocker stud like that with an appropriate length pushrod. My friend (the pics I posted) had issues with the body of the rocker hitting the HEAD studs. I run ARP head bolts and have zero clearance issues. Post a pic up for us when you get a chance

Forget clearancing them. You need to run a tapered stud with those rockers.
