Default 396 LT1 Dyno Sheet

Heres the last time i hit the dyno with a good tranny and locking the converter. Pretty happy with the power and torque curve. This is a Golen, yes Golen 396 the same way he sells it on the website. Motor has around 15,000 miles. Ill refresh it next year. What do you guys think? Ill probably keep the cam and send my heads to AI.

Really? 400 rwtq at under 3000 in a cam only ls1? That's great! Keep looking at these ridiculous inflated numbers in the dyno section..

Thanks guys..no times I blew the Trans twice at the track

why would you wanna freshen it up after only 15k? iv got a golen 396 thats daily driven and has around 30k on it. runs just fine. had the heads off not too long ago to be ported and the cross hatching looked like it was honed last week.

236/242 .575/.575 112. one of the red aluminum rockers it came with decided to trash a bearing so they all got replaced with 1.52 ultra pro mags which brings the lift numbers up to .582

You know some ****, ill give you that, and on other forums you act like a human and even give very very good knowledgeable info. But just stop being a total *** on here for no good reason.

Guy is just posting a dyno graph of a golen 396 motor. Im sure it doesnt come with top notch ported heads and a cam ground for max power, it sounds like this is a drop in street motor. Making that kind of power in a daily driver is respectable.

Your right. Its not a top notch motor but its got alot of displacement and alot of compression so its a blast to drive. I hope to keep the rear together and run a 11.30-50 @ 118-120 mph @ 3600 lbs in the spring.

the heads flow like 265 cfm @ .600 and the cam is 236 on the intake side, really nothing spectacular lol.
