Default 95 lt1 engine seized

Engine ran with no oil for about 10 seconds now is seized I'm trying to avoid oil pan removal and main bearings removal is there an old trick or something useful I can do before I attack the engine.

I've broken motors free a few different ways. Please note their is a good chance to cause even more damage by listening to me and it really isn't a good solution.
Busted a small block apart with a breaker bar on the harmonic balancer (really stupid to do if you at all care about the motor). It actually ran descent afterwards.
Broke a big block free and it still made descent compression but at some point I broke a piston skirt somehow and I never fired it up. Bearings looked good upon disassembly, cylinder walls had some very light scoring in every cylinder except the one with the broken piston skirt.

If you are destined to try to do I'd toss the car in neutral and let it build up speed down a hill and put it back into gear. If it locks up the tires and doesn't do anything else -- it's shot.

Once again though, I do not advise doing this to anything you care about. Both the motors I unseized I didn't care about.

Unless this was a completely new dry engine with no oil 10 seconds of run-time shouldn't seize the engine. Post up some more details.

I was running my 383 set up i decided to go back to my old engine for a some time, the engine was sitting there for a few moths I don't remember draining the oil I guess my helper did it was running with no filter and no oil for about 10 seconds no knocking of any kind just turned off and locked up.

Thinking on removing spark plugs and shooting some thin oil will this help it I'm working on my car this Sunday just trying to gather up some ideas.

even with no oil or filter, i wouldnt think 10 seconds would seize it. are you sure its completely locked up?

Oil in plug holes to try and prevent any ring or cylinder wall damage and push it in neutral?

Won't work with automatic. If its a manual, please be advised this can damage drivetrain. If you are going to do this I'd recommend 2nd or 3rd gear and/or not dumping the clutch. Good luck.

its more than likely the rods that are locked. you need to remove the pan and loosen the rod caps then see if it will spin.

Yea this could kill the crank and rods. They may be able to be reworked why kill them? Tear it down spend $1500 have the bottom end rebuilt.
