After reading more of your comments, it's sounding to me like you'd be happiest with the 3.42 gears.
With a stockish engine, there would be very little performance gain stepping up from 3.42 to 3.73.
I have a 3rd Gen F-body with 3.73's, stock engine, and I would prefer 3.42's. It's always operating too far above the engine's torque peak with the 3.73's.

there are some minor differences in the T-56 internal ratio's but that's the only difference I remember.

93 F-body with M6 had 3.23 or 2.73 rear gears.

93 F-body with A4 had 3.23 or 2.73 rear gears.

I agree, i'm glad I didn't do 4:10's with my 93 T56. I got 3:73's with it now and it's perfect!

If I had a 94+ T-56 I would do 4:10's

Get motive 3.90 gears. That's what I'm using and I have an auto with a 3200 stall. It's the best of both worlds IMO lol

Not 100% sure because I haven't driven it since before winter. But I'm pretty sure it's something like 2400-2500 rpm around 60 mph.

I just swaped from 373 to 342's

373's at 75 mph was 3000 rpm
342's at 75 mph are 2500 rpm

My 60" time's are .2 th's better with the 342's but the new relocation bracket's are probably the reason for this but it went from 2.0 60's to 1.8 with stock stall and tranny.I am overly pleased with the ratio
