Alright guys got a used 94 lt1+t56 with computer and wiring harness, and am going to install it into a 96z28 that is setup with the t56 the computer and harness is still in the car for now, I dont wanna swap over to the newer opti yet, cause that requires me to tear into the motor and do to the fact that it is under warranty. does anyone know if I could simply install the 94 wiring and computer into the car and simply plug and play ie"dash, fans and guages" or is there any differences in the body wiring that I am not aware of? any advise or tips would be nice.

newer OPTI? i thought the only difference was the newer ones were vented as the old ones were sealed. are you going into a 96 lt1? or V6? if the 96 is an lt1, just swap over the sensors from the old LT1 to the new 94 long block. plug and play as any engine swap since the intake is already off, just reuse the 96 intake and sensors.
